Bowled over with new facilities at iconic Glasgow
HCS Mechanical Services refitted facilities at Queen’s Park Bowling and Tennis Club, one of Glasgow’s most historic sports venues.
The work comprised replacing the external cast iron drainage, internal drainage, cold and hot water systems and sanitary ware.
Founded in the year 1867, Queen’s Park is often referred to as the “Mecca of Bowling” and “it is to bowling what the nearby Hampden Park is to football”.
The new facilities at the Grade II listed sports pavilion include a kitchen area, men and women’s washrooms and a disabled access WC. Our two-man team took 10 week to take out the old hardware and install the new facilities.
