Keeping the heat on for emergency services
Engineers from HCS Mechanical Services worked around the demands of busy, live fire stations to complete five jobs for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Over several months, the HCS team successfully installed new systems in fire stations at Lythe, Scarborough, Sherburn, Skipton and Tadcaster. Each job was completed within four weeks – and while the fire stations were operating as normal.
At Lythe, we installed a full electrical boiler system, including wet radiator system. Scarborough and Tadcaster required complete plant room replacements.
We installed a full oil-fired heating system at Sherburn, and replaced a boiler at Skipton.
Steve Simpson of North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service commented: “HCS have a very professional approach and were very capable of working around the live environment of an emergency service responding fire service.
“The staff were helpful and courteous at all times, and kept us up to date with the progress of the job.”
